Puss In Boots will be back in action fall Dreamworks

 It is a decade since Antonio Banderas’ Puss In Boots appeared on screen in the 13-minute short film, Puss In Boots: The Three Diablos, but fans of the enigmatic feline swordsman are finally getting a new movie this year, and the trailer is coming next week. Dreamworks Animation shared a quick comical teaser announcing that Puss In Boots: The Last Wish will be dropping its first trailer on Tuesday, March 15, ahead of the movie’s fall premiere. The character of Puss in Boots was first seen almost two decades ago as a would-be antagonist in Shrek 2, but it was soon seen that the cat with the hat and love of footwear was not quite as fearsome as he would like to make out.  Colin Farrell has been a standout favorite for many filmgoers who saw The Batman.  The post-apocalyptic thriller I Am Legend is getting a follow-up film. Deadline reports that Warner Bros. is moving forward with an I Am Legend sequel with original star Will Smith returning with Michael B. Jordan coming on board to star and produce alongside Smith. The film will be the duo's first big movie together as stars and producers. Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the previous film adaptation, will also return to pen this untitled sequel and produce with Smith and Jordan. All three of their deals are reportedly already closed, meaning the project is a go. Francis Lawrence, who directed the original film, is not currently on board with no director as of yet attached. Jordan is producing with Elizabeth Raposo under their Outlier Society banner.
